| High Level Role Description: | The Global Corporate Communications department for Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics is located at the company headquarters in Lysaker, Norway.
The Corporate Communications department has a strong focus on internal communications, building systems, tools, guidelines, and measurements to assure effective communication of company goals, policies, messages, etc.
The function is also responsible for external communications designed to communicate company and brand messages to key external audiences. This includes proactive media relations, issue management, social media use, as well as crisis communications.
The Technical Manager will have a key function in this team, having the overall responsibility for SharePoint, Internet and Intranet.
This is a technical position that combines both planning and policy decisions with hands-on execution, intervention and problem solving.

| Responsibility & Authority |
- Develop and manage web services to target defined audience groups
- Identify enhancements and changes to www.2wglobal.com to ensure it is dynamic
- Drive and implement strategies for SharePoint, internet and intranet
- Drive and Manage offshore support team and external consultants
- Together with the IT Applications department, manage change related to online services
- Monitor user behavior and web usage, using this to steer development
- Quality assurance of web content
- Governance of web operations and support
- Align initiatives and potential synergies with owners and sister companies

| A successful applicant for this role will possess the following: |
- Is MOSS 2007 certified, with 3-5 years of Sharepoint experience
- Is comfortable operating on various levels, from large scale logical architecture design, to small scale support
- Experience from managing commercial websites
- Used to managing a web content management system as super user, administrator and business system responsible
- Ability to quickly understand customer's and other audience's needs, requirements and expectations and then break that down into specifications and work orders
- Ability to create and follow up technical specifications for the web development team
- Preferable experience from working with outsourced development teams
- Good functional and technical understanding of web technologies
- Be focused on delivering efficient solutions
- Know the principles for search engine optimization
- Be able to do design drafts and be familiar with usability standards
- Skilled in information architecture for improving current information structures as well as new structures for coming websites
- Experience from analyzing website statistics and performing surveys regarding visitor behavior and experience
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Good skills in structuring, specifying, following up and completing initiatives
